Ok so when Elsa said the cold never bothered me at all,l have to disagree with her.This cold is definitely bothering me,and now we have icy cold rain as well.Oh boy,it time to get that Hot Choc and climb under the duvet.🤣
But at the same time lets spare a thought for the less fortunate, and the homeless and donate a blanket. There are so many organizations doing blanket distribution if you can please donate a blanket ♥️

Saucy Peri Peri Chicken with Saffron Rice

  • 1 chicken cut up into pieces
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder @kamalas_sa
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin /Coriander powder @kamalas_sa
    Salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kashmiri chilli powder @kamalas_sa
  • 1/2 teaspoon chicken masala @kamalas_sa
  • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper spice
    Marinade the chicken in all the above spices and leave for an hour or overnight if you can.
    Add some olive oil to the pot and cook the chicken.
    For the sauce
  • 2 tablespoons wild herb sauce
  • 2 tablespoons garlic sauce
  • 2 tablespoons bushveld braai
    If you cannot find any of the above use any peri peri garlic sauce
  • 2 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoon tomato sauce
  • 2 teaspoon crushed garlic
    60 g butter
    125ml fresh cream
    Add all the above into a pot and bring to a boil.
    Pour over the cooked chicken and serve with Saffron rice.
